weekend: oryx and crake.
Spent this past weekend going to what seemed like everywhere. Went to an amazing Indian restaurant with Tim Friday night called Panahar. I got this lamb dish. Uh-mazing. The next day was full from wake to sleep, but in the end, completely worth it. I got a cupcake from Dr. Bombay's Underwater Tea Party and went to Artlantis. It was held on the property of this church, so Tim and I snuck in to take some pictures. Sneaky sneaky. Then there was this rad backyard concert where Oryx and Crake played. They sounded great! Also, I don't have any pictures of it, but a couple of us went to 529 to see Twin Sister play. Holy cow were they amazing. Andrea was completely gorgeous and I was standing directly in front of her. Needless to say, I could barely move.
As a side note: I think summer has really hit here in Atlanta. Saying it's hot outside is an extreme understatement. I get sweaty just thinking about outside, and that's not fun. Do you really have to go to Europe for a nice summer?
How was your weekend?

Lovely story time (with pictures! yesssssss), Ciara. From where is the first photo taken?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I would like to suggest that one may go to Oregon for a pleasant summer that is not sweltering. Just have to put up with some rain. :)
Ahh Oregon! My dream vacation! I want to visit the Northwest so bad! Thanks for reminding me how pleasant it is up there!
ReplyDeleteThat picture was taken at Dr. Bombay's Underwater Tea Party (http://www.drbombays.com/) down in Candler Park. It's so precious there! You would love it! They have all these books for sale, and they are all $1. All good vibes and cozy. It's my favorite tea/coffee shop.
I see you walked down my street yet did not come say hi! Fail!
ReplyDelete:)
It certainly was close by, you're right! Next time I won't be so silly! I love you, girl!
