The video for Dum Dum Girls “Coming Down” is in Black and White, and it perfectly fits the mood. “Only in Dreams”, the latest Dum Dum Girls album was my favorite of last year, but you won’t find lead singer/songwriter Dee Dee wearing pink and singing bumble gum pop anytime soon. Her roots are a little more somber and a little bit personal. This song is a perfect slow-burner, erupting with Dee Dee’s golden voice. The song similarly rides Mazzy Star vibes (brings to mind Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into you”), but that’s not a bad thing, is it?

Thanks for the intro to this song, it's definitely being added to my itunes. Oh and I've been loving your black and white posts. I'm a black and white girl at heart. I love the odd piece of colour, but monochrome gets me. EVERY. TIME.
