Dayna Thacker is an artist I had been meaning to post about for a while now. Then one day, I got an email notifying me of an exhibition of Thacker at a local gallery. Coincidence? Well, turns up, she lives down here in the good ol' south. I couldn't be more lucky! Thacker's most recent pieces have been collages that portray images of homes and sometimes of people on these structures. According to the artist, the houses are based on ancient Buddhist mandalas that served as simplified floor plans in correlation to the human soul. Through her art she experiments and tests new "floor plans" that might render what our modern souls might look like.
What do you think your house soul would look like?
